OutreachFollow-up of Visitors
It is our prayer that God will bring to our church those who are seeking a relationship with him. When he does so, we want to extend to them the love of Jesus through church services that are sensitive to seekers, through follow-up visitation, and through visitors’ dinners. Outreach Team
The outreach team, which meets monthly, seeks to encourage and equip church members to be intentional, available, and prepared in sharing the Gospel with unbelievers, such as neighbors, friends, co-workers, and family members. For more information, call Ed Wolfe
Deed Ministry
Deed Ministries at AVPC include meals ministry, love and care to sick and infirmed both within our church body and outside among the hurting we come in contact with, SonRise Health ministries, and small group service projects.
· Meals Ministry This team seeks to provide meals for AVPC members and regular visitors who are facing difficulties and transitions in their lives. For more information, call Anna Harris (967-0680).
· Mercy Team This team seeks to minister to AVPC members and regular visitors who are facing difficulties and transitions in their lives. For more information, call Darren Popwell (981-2008).
· SonRise Health Ministries This ministry provides medical service to elderly and disabled people in Jefferson and Shelby counties. For more information, call Karen Murphy (967-8302). |
