Pastor’s Class
(All Ages)                     (Library)
This class provides a “next step” for our visitors who have an interest in learning more about our church, our teachings and our pastor and his wife. Every class begins with an informal question and answer time designed to deal with questions that may arise during a sermon, or just common questions people have about Christianity. The curriculum is flexible so you can join at any time.
Taught by Rev. Brad Allison

Christian Essentials: How to Study Your Bible
(This class focuses on topics vital to Christian growth and is open to all adults)    (Conference Room)
The step beyond a quiet time. Based on Psalm 77:4-6, this class addresses the importance of studying the scriptures by looking at the ancient practices of meditating, considering and pondering.

Koinonia, Sojourners, and Pilgrims: Issues in Missions
(All Ages)                  (Fellowship Hall)
This class, which combines three adult classes, will explore some of the major issues that modern missionaries face. While some missionaries serve half-way around the globe in cultures very different from our own, many of the challenges they face are the same ones believers in Birmingham encounter within their own circles of acquaintance.
Taught by Kurt Selles*

*Kurt Selles is the Director of the Global Center and as Assistant Professor teaches missions at Beeson Divinity School. He and his wife, Vicki, served for nineteen years in Taiwan and China, where he worked with churches, taught in universities, and directed the Calvin College Semester-in-China Program. His research interests are the challenges facing missions in the twenty-first century, the history of Christianity in China, the American mission movement, and global Christianity.

Women’s Bible Study

Meaningful Manhood: Genesis
